Remix OS Installation Tool 64-bit: A Comprehensive Guide

As I explore the world of Android on PCs, I have come to a conclusion - my next experiment will be with Android x86 (32-bit). However, this decision comes with some caveats. Specifically, Remix OS installation tool 64-bit is not without its limitations.

One major hurdle is that Remix OS does not support UEFI systems at all. In fact, there is only a chance to see the USB drive if the UEFI settings allow a CSM mode. Fortunately, Jide has recently released an EFI version of Remix OS on their website, which may address this issue.

To set up Remix OS on my system, I decided to use VMware Workstation 10.5 and create a virtual machine. I associated 1 GByte RAM with the virtual machine and chose not to allocate any hard disk space, as the Life system does not require it.

For network connection, I selected bridged mode under Windows 7. After configuring the virtual machine, I was presented with another screen - the Remix OS setup screen. This is where things got interesting.

Once I reached the desktop, I was surprised to find that it looked eerily similar to Windows. The language and localization settings allowed me to choose between English and Chinese, with additional languages available for selection later in the settings app.

Before proceeding further, I had to take care of some legal formalities. After completing this task, I was able to select the Guest mode (Life system), which presented me with a new window displaying various applets.

Overall, while Remix OS installation tool 64-bit is not without its challenges, it is certainly an exciting project that has opened up new possibilities for Android on PCs.
